Your radar device is pre-installed with batteries and arrives ready for immediate use. Here's how to operate it:

  2. Prepare for Measurement: Press the "on" button again. The display will show two dashes, indicating that the radar is now transmitting and ready to measure speed.

Measuring Speed

  • When an arrow's speed is detected, the display will alternate between showing the hundreds digit and the tens and ones digits. For example, a speed of 275 fps will be displayed as "2" followed by "75," alternating between the two.

  • After measuring a shot, press the "on" button to reset the radar for the next measurement.

Power-Saving Features

  • If no shot is detected within thirty seconds, the device will automatically turn off the radar transmitter to conserve power. Press the "on" button again to prepare the device for the next shot.

  • If the RADARchron™ remains idle for about one minute, it will automatically enter "sleep" mode, conserving battery power. The display will turn off, and the device will remain in sleep mode until you restart the above sequence
